Our Specialized IT Services & Development provides specific and comprehensive support for Volkswagen AG’s technical development users in requirement/project management, software development and server administration, IT User Helpdesk, application support, IT client administration in 2nd level support and Shopfloor & Measurement IT.

The project is internally based on a customer focus that addresses the complex department-specific IT infrastructure.

As a result, we are able to provide individual software solutions, special metrology support and the support of the German and international test sites.

 

Our services & competences

Requirements Management/Project Management

As a dedicated team, we support agile project and subproject management. As such, we are the interface between the specialist department/customer and development.

As employees of Volkswagen Group Services GmbH, we are in charge of requirements management, from gathering and analysing requirements to prioritisation and approval.

We work according to the individual requirements of our customers (areas of research & development, corporate law, etc.) and provide support through requirements management, process optimisation, consulting and project management.

Software Development and Server Administration

Our team of enthusiastic software developers and server administrators works out solutions for complex processes, individual applications and modern infrastructures.
With a focus on agile work and customer-oriented relationships, we can advise our business partners on current events at any time. We can therefore offer high-quality, individual and reliable products and services. We operate an advanced server infrastructure together with our customers.

Application Support

In application support, we oversee various systems that are closely involved in the development of new vehicles in the group. Our tasks include support for users and administration in the systems. We face new challenges every day, which makes our job especially exciting and varied.

IT-Support, Shopfloor & Measurement IT and IT User Helpdesk

IT Client Administration is responsible for the acceptance, qualification and solution-oriented processing of IT workspace-related processes.

The Shopfloor & Measurement IT team is responsible for processing enquiries and faults in the area of IT Measurement and supports customers in the commissioning of devices and systems.

In technical development, the IT User Helpdesk serves as the first point of contact for all users from the specialist departments and is the interface to the technical specialists from 2nd level support. Requests are recorded using a ticket system and qualified and processed by the 1st level support of the IT User Helpdesk.
