Our activities in the area of automation technologies focus on process automation and digitalisation. We are very keen on new technologies – and creative ideas are always welcome.
Together with our customers, we develop software solutions for specific problems, always taking the overriding goals into account. We assist with the development of new automation ideas and support project implementation from start to finish.
We use process mining to create digital process models, thereby ensuring that actual processes are mapped and accurately documented. In this manner, we create the best possible conditions for sustainable process optimisation measures.
Our process mining consultants identify the digital footprint that processes leave behind when they are conducted in IT systems. They then prepare the data and use it to create a process model that can be analysed individually. In this sense, we open the door to an ultimate understanding of the process in question and provide our customers with a comprehensive and objective depiction that can be used to jointly identify optimisation potential that can be exploited over the long term.
We identify the automation potential of our customers’ processes and then optimise the processes with the help of various software solutions, including robotic process automation (RPA). Here, the processes are taken over by software “as if by magic”. Another example relates to the development of apps, as the user-friendly interface can be used to create new applications that offer our customers considerable benefits. In this regard, we work mostly with Microsoft Power Platform, which offers solutions for process automation and data processing.
In the area of conversational automation, we study ways to teach machines languages so that they can provide us with more effective support in our daily work. Here we search for or develop solution approaches relating to chatbots, virtual agents, voicebots and the global topic of natural language processing.
In our customer projects, we determine which solution is best suited to the use case for a given problem, after which we develop the solution design. We then assist with implementation, provide training in the required software product and bring the product to the go-live stage.
The implementation of new processes in physical settings requires a great deal of coordination. Many stakeholders need to come together and a large number of specifications are drawn up that have to be approved by all project participants. There’s not always enough time to view documents and agree on specifications, which means there’s a high risk of misunderstandings, which in turn can lead to production stoppages.
Our virtual reality (VR) consultants support our customers in this challenging environment by documenting in writing a VR model that can be experienced. This means all participants can quickly and securely obtain the most important information about the process in question, which in turn lowers the risk of change requests, saves time and reduces project costs. In addition, the VR model can be utilised for key-user training programmes.
